§ 4-12. Collection of animals for resale prohibited.

It shall be unlawful for any person to collect any animal for the purpose of resale. Collection shall include, but is not limited to, home solicitations or the setting of traps on any land for the purpose of reselling these animals. Any persons found collecting animals for resale may be subject to civil penalties as provided by G.S. 160A-175. Fines for civil violations are set in the town's fee schedule maintained at the Town Hall.
