§ 30-1. Violations; penalties.

(a)

Upon the violation of any provision of this chapter, the town may enforce this chapter by criminal or civil proceedings, or by any other remedy provided for under G.S. 160A-175 and section 1-7 of this Code.

(b)

Written notice of a violation may be provided to the violator by personal service or first class mail. When first class mail is sent via the United States Postal Service, a receipt shall be deemed to occur on the third day after the date of the postmark.

(c)

Upon notification of a violation as provided for in subsection (b) of this section, each day's continuing violation shall be deemed a separate and distinct offense.
