Latest version.
  • Whenever refuse accumulates on properties such that it is classified as litter and/or it creates a public nuisance, as determined by the town for public nuisance in article II of chapter 14, then the owner of such property shall be responsible for removing and disposing of the refuse as directed by the town. The enforcement of such removal shall be in accordance with the provisions of the public nuisance ordinance or the litter abatement guidelines contained in section 24-141.
