§ 20-4. Smoking prohibited in municipal buildings, facilities, and vehicles.

(a)

For the purpose of this section, "smoking" means inhaling, exhaling, burning or carrying any lighted cigar, cigarette or other combustible tobacco product in any manner or in any form.

(b)

It shall be unlawful for any person to smoke in any building or facility or portion of any building or facility now or hereafter owned, leased, operated, occupied, managed or controlled by the town, including but not limited to town hall, the police department, Shannon Fire Station, the Yaupon Beach Fire Station, South Harbour Village Fire Station, all public works and public utilities buildings, sewer facilities, including all vacuum stations, the Teen Center, Middleton Park and the soccer fields and other fields associated with it, Bill Smith Park and all the fields, trails and buildings therein, the Ocean Education Center and the Nature Center.

(c)

It shall be unlawful for any person to smoke in any vehicle now or hereafter owned or leased by the town.
